Although I’ve never played them properly, I’ve always been intrigued by the art associated with Trading Card Games. The immense world of Pokémon was one of the first things that ever inspired me to draw, and kick started my admiration for fantasy fiction. Now decades later, getting the opportunity to alter “Magic: The Gathering” cards for friends who are so deeply invested in the culture really brings the whole experience full circle.
