It’s All Art..
I am constantly intrigued by the varying vastness of life, a feeling made up of both inspiration and confusion. Something I see, hear, or feel catalyzes with whatever uniqueness I'm made of, becoming something new. This new thing is made of me, but it is not me. I am obligated to give it back to the world where it can breathe. My art is my way of bridging the gaps, translating the world I experience into the way it makes me feel, then offering it back to continue evolving.
I illustrate these feelings, through words and sketches as an initial release, then refined primarily through paint as final product. My mural work attempts to fuse the excitement of art with the average aspects of life, animating the ordinary. My studio practice aims to bring everyday life to the obscurity of my mind, making the unusual relatable.
My aim is to resonate. I hope whatever I've made will have an affect on someone else, who will take it up, transform it, and spit it back out into the world to keep rolling along, evolving until it circumnavigates the globe and ends up coming back unrecognizable. I see the world of art, in all its disciplines, as a giant collaboration of compounding renditions. As I’m constantly full of new ideas demanding to be made tangible, if I do not play my part, I will explode.
